Some Times I wake up in the Middle of the Night

For this show I had to use the repatory plot and I could use three circurts. The repatory plot was shared with the other designers of Theatre Fest.

My original design statment for Some Times I wake up in the Middle of the Night. I wanted to create different looks for each scene through the use of color washes to help portray emotion. which is reflected in my early renderings which you can click on below.

As I am working on the lighting design. The sceneic designer Tonya brings up the idea of a star wall. The star wall needs to be plug in... So my design had to adapt which it did.

It adapted to use gobos and the star wall. You can see the render of Rosco's 78417 gobo below.

My statment for Some Times I wake up in the Middle of the Night. I showed the viewer the fractured nature of dreams. By using differnet gobo washes and color to create different looks for each scene.
